Bring Ford+Alexa with You on the Road: Access to Alexa in your Ford is now as convenient as connecting your phone, launching the Ford+Alexa app, and communicating with Alexa. Alexa can effectively hear you even amidst road noise, providing access to a wide range of information, skills, and features similar to what you experience with an Echo device at home. Alexa's recognizable voice and responses are then played through your vehicle's speakers. With the ability to tap into thousands of Alexa skills and services enjoyed by Echo users, you can energize yourself on the way to the gym by asking, "Alexa, play my workout playlist," or seamlessly continue listening to your audiobook during your commute to work. Stay informed about dinner plans on the drive home by inquiring, "Alexa, what's on my calendar tonight?"

• Alexa Capabilities: Gain access to a vast array of capabilities equivalent to those available in a home environment. Control smart home devices, order food, check the weather, keep track of your favorite sports teams' scores, and manage your schedule effortlessly.
• Navigation: Command Alexa to locate a point of interest (POI) and direct you there. Alexa seamlessly transitions the POI to the onboard navigation system when available or to your phone for step-by-step directions.
• Entertainment: Enjoy music through Amazon Music, TuneIn, and iHeartRadio via Alexa. Control music playback functionalities like skipping tracks, fast-forwarding, rewinding, playing, pausing, and even make song purchases. Your vehicle's display provides artist, song title, and album art information.

Synchronization (SYNC) 3 Software Version 2.2 or later is necessary. Verify the Software Version on the SYNC 3 touch screen by navigating to: Settings > General > About SYNC. The top line displays the current Software Version (SYNC 3, Software Version: X.X). You can update to the latest Software Version through automated home Wi-Fi updates* or via a USB download from owner.ford.com.

*Please note that Wi-Fi updates may not be supported for SYNC 3 versions lacking navigation functionality.
